Archaeological Research in Ecuador

In 2019, the Entrix Latin America team conducted archaeological research in different areas of the Sucumbíos province, located in the Ecuadorian Amazon.

The gathering of information in the field included prospecting and archeological reconnaissance, which required the participation of local guides. These guides were previously trained to identify, recover, register and manipulate archaeological objects; promoting the economic development of the localities and reinforcing their cultural knowledge about the pre-Hispanic population that inhabited the place of study.
